The flag of Baltimore features the "Battle Monument" (which is also the central motif on the city's seal). The design was by French emigre architect Maximilian Godefroy and was adopted on the 11th of February 1916. (More info)

The flag of California, known as the Bear Flag has a white field, a red star in the upper-left, a red stripe along the bottom, the words 'California Republic' above the stripe, and in the centre a dark brown California grizzly walking left on a green grass plat. (More info)

The flag of Chicago consists of two light blue horizontal bars, or stripes, on a field of white, each bar one-sixth the height of the full flag, and placed slightly less than one-sixth of the way from the top and bottom. Four bright red stars, with six sharp points each, are set side by side, close together, in the middle third of the flag's surface. (More info)

The flag of the U.S. state of Colorado was officially adopted on June 5, 1911. The flag features three horizontal stripes of blue, white and blue. On top of these stripes sits a circular red "C", filled with a golden disk. (More info)

The flag of the City and County of Denver was designed by a North High School student, Margaret Overbeck, and adopted in 1926. The flag has a blue field with a white zigzag pattern, forming two red triangles on the bottom. Within the blue on top, yellow circle is added near the centre. (More info)

The flag has a blue Canadian pale bordered by two narrow gold vertical bars, flanked by wider red outer bars. Centred, a stylised white magnolia blossom with a stamen in gold, encircled by twenty white five-pointed stars. Completing the circle is a gold five-point segmented star at the top, and at the bottom the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST". (More info)
