Heavy duty flag poles: plan the installation before the print
A house builder flag pole is a different purchase from a portable promotional flag. It forms part of a site installation, so the location, ground fixing and assembled height need planning before artwork is approved. Use the specification of the actual pole kit rather than assuming a portable flag base will be suitable.
Compare the pole options and included components
The house builder flag pole kit lists 6m and 8m aluminium pole choices with single- or double-sided print options. The product describes a two-piece pole, printed flag and ground sleeve. Check the current configuration and installation information for the exact kit you choose.
Ground sleeve and site preparation
The listed ground-sleeve installation involves digging and concrete or post mix. Arrange a suitable position and installation method with the person responsible for the site. Confirm required permissions, underground services and clearance around the completed display. Follow the supplied instructions and seek competent installation advice where needed rather than treating the kit as a portable ground-spike flag.
Artwork for a tall display
Design for the distance at which the flag will be seen. Keep the business or development name clear and avoid small text that can only be read close up. Use the current template for the printed flag and identify the attachment edge. If both viewing directions matter, discuss the printed-side choice before preparing the final file.
Order planning and future changes
Send the site requirements, pole size, quantity and artwork together. Confirm availability and production timing separately from installation arrangements. Keep the pole specification and order reference for future replacement graphics; matching only the overall height does not establish the correct flag dimensions or finishing.
For a portable display instead, compare feather flags or forecourt flag systems. Ask us to check the kit and artwork specification before ordering for a fixed opening date.
