Tension fabric displays: understand the frame, graphic and shape
A tension fabric display uses a printed fabric graphic fitted over a supporting frame. In the tube-style systems in this range, the frame establishes the shape and the graphic is prepared for that specific structure. The result is useful for exhibition branding, promotional backdrops and freestanding messages, but the shape and dimensions need choosing before the artwork is finished.
Choose the display profile
The straight fabric display suits a broad background or linear layout. Listed widths include 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m, 3m, 4m, 5m and 6m. Its specification lists a tubular aluminium frame, printed polyester fabric and carry bag.
A curved fabric display creates a concave backdrop. Check the actual depth for the chosen size, particularly on a shallow exhibition pitch. The fabric snake stand offers a different freestanding shape for a focused message. Each product needs its own artwork template.
Tube display stands versus roller banners
A fabric display and a roller banner assemble differently. A roller graphic retracts into its cassette; the fabric graphic fits over a separate frame. Choose according to the required shape, graphic area, available footprint and how the display will travel. A larger fabric wall may support a complete stand background, while a compact pull-up display may suit one offer at an entrance.
Prepare artwork for a tensioned surface
The flat template includes areas that change appearance as the material fits the frame. Keep important text, faces and logos clear of seams and strongly curved edges. Use a high-quality logo file and check large photographs at their intended print size. Avoid treating the full template as a safe area for small text.
Where single- and double-sided choices are offered, decide what should appear on each face. If the back will be visible from a neighbouring aisle, include that in the brief. Our free artwork service can help adapt supplied material and provide a proof before printing.
Plan assembly and repeat use
Check the complete assembled dimensions, including feet. Review the components supplied with the selected configuration and follow its assembly sequence. Keep the graphic with the correct frame, especially if you own several similarly sized systems. Follow the actual fabric-care instructions before washing or treating the print.
Can I replace the graphic later?
Replacement compatibility must be checked against the frame model, size and shape. The straight fabric product lists replacement graphics as an option to discuss. Send the original order reference and a photograph of the frame before ordering a new print; a generic width alone is not enough.
For a wider stand layout, compare exhibition walls or illuminated lightbox displays. Request a quote with the system, dimensions, quantity and required date so artwork and timing can be checked.
