Forecourt flags: plan the display around your dealership
A forecourt flag can identify an entrance, mark a promotional area or help customers recognise your dealership from the approach. Plan the message and position together. The flag needs space around vehicles and pedestrians, a suitable supporting system and artwork that can be understood without stopping to read a paragraph.
Flag-only print or a complete system?
The forecourt flag product offers flag-only and 4.5m pole-and-drive-on-base choices. Its finishing options include eyelets with a pole pocket, loops with a pole pocket, and eyelets to the top and side. Select the finishing for the hardware you actually have.
The separate heavy duty automotive flag lists a telescopic pole and drive-on foot with its printed flag. Compare the included components rather than assuming both products are the same package. The wider collection also contains shaped display flags and other promotional systems.
Check the position before choosing the height
Allow clearance around cars, pedestrian routes and access points. Consider the direction of the approach and what parked vehicles will obscure. Follow the supplied instructions for the base and pole, and remove the display in unsuitable weather. If reusing equipment, provide the original model or photographs for a compatibility check.
Design a focused car sales message
Choose one main purpose for each flag, such as identifying the business or highlighting a particular service. Keep lettering large and the colour contrast clear. Several flags can form a coordinated sequence, but each should make sense on its own. Check spelling and the accuracy of any promotional claims before approving the artwork.
Repeat campaigns and replacement prints
Keep the order reference, hardware model and final artwork together for future orders. A new promotion may only need a compatible replacement graphic. Check the condition of the existing pole and base before reuse, and verify that the new finishing matches the system.
