Flag poles and display hardware: replace the right component
Display hardware works as a system. The graphic, pole and base must be compatible, and the complete setup must suit its location. When one part needs replacing, begin with the original product details rather than buying the closest-looking component.
Identify the pole kit
Browse pole kits after checking the flag shape, size and original range. A flag's overall display height is not enough to identify every component. Send the order reference and photographs of the pole sections, joints and graphic attachment points if the model is uncertain. Follow the replacement and assembly guidance for the actual product.
Choose the base for the surface
A ground spike is for suitable soft ground. Water bases and cross-base systems have different footprints and ballast requirements. A drive-on foot is a specialist vehicle-display component. Compare the full range in feather flag bases and check suitability for the pole and flag height.
Check connections and condition
Similar-looking sockets and poles may have different dimensions. Confirm the connection and condition of retained parts before assembly. A new base does not repair a damaged pole, and an extra weight does not establish that a larger flag is safe for a particular setup. Keep the completed display clear of access routes and follow the supplied weather instructions.
Keep a simple equipment record
For several event kits, label the compatible pole, base and graphic together. Retain the original product name, size, order reference and photographs. This makes reordering easier and reduces the chance of mixing components from different systems during setup.
