Lightbox displays: choosing size, printed faces and illumination

An LED lightbox illuminates the graphic from within the display system. That makes it a different purchase from a standard fabric backdrop with a lamp pointed at it. The frame, lighting and printed graphic need to work together, and the event layout needs a suitable power supply. Start with the available space and the directions from which the display will be viewed.

Compare the sizes in this collection

DisplayListed face sizeTypical planning role
Budget lightbox85 × 200cmA compact illuminated message
85cm lightbox85 × 225cmA narrow display with a taller graphic
1m lightbox100 × 225cmFocused branding within a smaller pitch
2m lightbox200 × 225cmA broader product or brand presentation
3m lightbox300 × 225cmA large illuminated stand background

These face dimensions are not the complete footprint. Check feet, depth and working space around the stand. The LED lightbox counter is a separate format for the front of a display or a customer contact point.

Single-sided or double-sided lightbox graphics?

Decide whether the back faces a wall or a second approach route. The product options list single and double print choices; confirm the included printed panels and rear treatment for the exact model. The budget product's text describes a single-sided configuration, so ask us to confirm its selected option if you need two visible faces. Do not assume every size has identical components.

Artwork for an illuminated surface

Use the current lightbox template and keep essential artwork within the safe area. Strong, clean images and a simple message work well where visitors are viewing from an aisle. Very small text still needs close reading, even when lit. Send original artwork files where possible and ask the team to review image resolution and colours before approval.

For several lightboxes, keep the design coherent while respecting each frame boundary. Confirm hardware compatibility before planning a linked wall; placing separate units together does not make them a connected system.

Plan power, assembly and transport

Confirm a suitable electrical supply with the venue and plan cable routes so they do not obstruct visitors. Check what is supplied with the selected model, including the frame, graphic and transport case. Assemble the display before the event where practical so your team understands the sequence and can inspect the components.

Production and future graphic changes

The 85 × 225cm, 1m, 2m and 3m products list standard 3–5-working-day and Super Express 2-day production choices. Check availability for the selected configuration and allow separately for artwork approval and delivery. The budget model has its own options, so use its current specification.

For replacement graphics, provide the exact model and dimensions. A fabric print intended for a tube display is not automatically suitable for a lightbox frame. Keep your order reference and approved artwork for future campaigns.
