Business flags: choose the format for your premises
A company flag should make the business recognisable and suit the way the site operates. A flag outside a permanent premises has different requirements from a portable display taken to events. Decide where it will stand, who will install and maintain it, and whether you already own the supporting hardware.
Printed flag or pole-and-flag kit?
Digitally printed flags offer selectable dimensions, printed sides and finishing for a compatible support. If the site needs an installed pole system, compare the house builder flag pole kit and its ground-sleeve requirements. These are different specifications; a print-only flag does not automatically include a pole.
Make the branding easy to recognise
Use the main company mark, clear colours and concise wording. A flag moving at a distance is not the place for a detailed service list. Think about which edge fixes to the pole and which direction the design needs to read. Where offered, double-sided printing can suit wording viewed from opposite directions.
Plan repeat branding across several locations
For multiple branches or developments, record the hardware and flag specification for each site. The same logo may need different artwork layouts for different shapes and orientations. Label file versions and quantities clearly, and check every address or location-specific message on the proof.
Installation, artwork and ordering
Confirm a suitable position and follow the instructions for the selected support. If the equipment is already installed, send photographs and measurements to help identify the required finishing. Use our free artwork help to prepare the graphic, then allow for proof approval, production and delivery when planning the launch date.
Compare custom flag sizes and finishing for print-led orders. For exhibitions and temporary pitches, see portable feather flags. Send your business branding brief with the site, quantity and required date.
