Compare feather flag sizes before you order
The 2.8m, 3.4m, 4.5m and 5.6m sizes refer to the display system, not the printable fabric dimensions. Choose a height that suits the location, with room for the pole and flag to move without touching signs, roofs or neighbouring displays. Use the template for your exact product when preparing artwork.
Compare feather flag sizes and starting prices
Starting prices are for each kit’s lowest-priced configuration. Printing, base and production choices can change the price. VAT and delivery are additional.
Choosing feather flags for shops, events and forecourts
Think about where your customer first needs to notice you. At a shop, a flag can identify the entrance or support a short seasonal message. At a market or exhibition, it can help people find your stand without relying on a sign behind a crowd. At a car dealership, a repeated line of flags can give the forecourt a consistent branded appearance.
Match the format to the job. A portable feather-flag kit is different from a forecourt flag print for an existing pole. For golf days and low-level sponsor displays, pop out banners may be more suitable. Check access routes and avoid obstructing pedestrians, vehicle sightlines or neighbouring entrances.
Single-sided or double-sided feather flag printing?
With a single-sided flag, the design shows through in reverse on the back. This can work well for a recognisable logo or simple artwork, but words will not read the same way from both directions. If readable text on both sides matters, check the double-sided option on your chosen product. Available combinations can vary by size and system.
Consider the approach to the display: do people see it mainly from one direction, or walk past on both sides? Choose the print format around that viewing pattern. Keep your main message short and ask the artwork team to check the layout for the exact flag template, including the curved edge and sleeve area.
Feather flags with bases: choose for the ground beneath them
The best base choice starts with the installation surface. A ground spike needs suitable soft ground. On paving or an exhibition floor, a compatible weighted base is usually the relevant starting point. Cross bases, water bags, water bases and drive-on feet suit different setups; they are not interchangeable for every pole or flag height.
Check the fitting, required ballast, available footprint and exposure before ordering. A larger display needs particular care in an open location. Compare feather flag bases and weights, or use our base compatibility guide if you already own hardware. Follow the supplied setup guidance and take flags down during severe weather.
Looking for cheap feather flags? Compare the complete display
A low starting price is useful only when you know what it buys. Compare the printed graphic, pole, selected base, print format and production option together. Then include VAT and delivery in the total. A fabric-only replacement should not be compared with a complete new kit as though the contents were identical.
For occasional use, the smallest suitable display may be the sensible choice. For repeat campaigns, reusing compatible hardware with a new graphic can reduce the parts you need to buy again. If you need several matching flags, request a quantity quote with the sizes and artwork variations. We can help you compare the options and choose a setup that fits your budget.
Free artwork services for every customer
You do not need a finished print file before asking for help. Send your logo, wording, preferred colours and a short explanation of where the flag will be used. Our free artwork service helps you prepare the design for the product you choose. If you already have print-ready artwork, use the matching template and upload it with your order where the product offers that option.
Keep essential text away from seams and edges, use a clear contrast between your message and its background, and make the main words readable from the intended distance. Tiny contact details can be difficult to use on a moving display. Check names, spelling and dates carefully when approving artwork. See our artwork guidelines and size and template information for the next steps.
Super Express, Express and 3-day production
A deadline has two parts: making the flags and getting them to you. We offer Super Express, Express and 3-day production options across our service, subject to the selected product, artwork approval and available capacity. Check the options shown on the actual product; different display systems can have different schedules.
If you need flags urgently, tell us the event date, quantity and where the order needs to arrive. Confirm the artwork deadline, production slot and courier or collection arrangement with the team. An estimated production date is not a guaranteed delivery date. Read the production and delivery information before choosing an urgent option.
Replacement graphics, care and getting ready for the next event
If the pole and base are still suitable, a replacement print can refresh an offer or bring an existing display into line with new branding. Match the flag shape, sleeve and dimensions to your hardware, especially when the original system came from another supplier. Our replacement flag graphics and replacement guide explain the checks to make.
Before each event, inspect the pole sections, joints, fixings and base. Follow the care instructions supplied with your print, let a wet flag dry before packing it away, and store the graphic where it will not be crushed against sharp components. A quick check before travelling is easier than discovering a missing or damaged part while setting up.
