Which feather flag size should I choose?

Start with the location, not simply the tallest flag. Measure the overhead clearance and the space for the base, movement of the flag and people passing. The size labels below identify our product options; use the matching artwork template for the printed shape rather than treating the size name as an artwork dimension. Product images are not shown to scale.

What is included: a flag kit or a replacement graphic?

The four core kits above include a printed flag and a fibreglass pole. Choose the base, printed sides and production option offered on the product page, and check the final specification before paying. Optional bases and faster production can change the price. Compare the complete specification, VAT and delivery when comparing quotes.

A replacement graphic is for existing hardware; it is not a complete new kit. Give us your original order reference, flag shape and pole details before ordering a replacement. Two suppliers using the same size label does not mean their fabric and poles will fit together.

Which feather flag base suits your surface?

Surface, flag size, exposure and the way the display will be used all matter. Choose from the bases offered for the selected flag and ask us to check suitability if you are unsure. A larger base is not a substitute for following the supplied weather and assembly guidance.

A compatible drive-on base is an option for a display positioned with a vehicle. Confirm the setup and location before choosing it.

Moving between venues? Send the team the flag size and the surfaces you expect to use. Follow the supplied system instructions, keep access routes clear and bring outdoor flags in during severe weather.

Single-sided or double-sided feather flags?

On a single-sided flag, the design shows in reverse on the back. It can be suitable when viewers mainly approach from one direction and the layout works in that setting.

Where a double-sided option is offered, choose it when lettering needs to read normally from both directions. Use its matching artwork template; do not assume the single-sided file has the same layout requirements. The current XL product has a single-sided template, so check with us before planning a different specification.

Whichever option you choose, prioritise one clear message. A logo, short headline and strong contrast are easier to judge at a distance than a dense list of services. Check spelling, contact details and important text within the template safe area before approving your design.

Plan production and delivery around your event

We offer Super Express, Express and 3-day production options. Availability depends on the product and your order; confirm capacity and the artwork approval deadline with our team before relying on an urgent turnaround.

Production time is separate from courier delivery. Tell us the date you need the flags in hand, the delivery postcode, quantity and whether artwork is ready. Ask about the complete schedule, including approval and transit, rather than assuming a production option is a guaranteed arrival date.

Before you order: a practical checklist

  1. Confirm the venue, available height, surface and room around the display.
  2. Choose the size and decide how the message should read from each direction.
  3. Select compatible hardware from the options on that product.
  4. Prepare the matching template, or send your logo, images and brief for free artwork help.
  5. Confirm your required arrival date, artwork approval and delivery arrangements.
  6. Check the selected options and final price; keep the order and artwork details for future reorders.

When the order arrives, inspect the components and follow the supplied assembly and care instructions before your event. Contact us if any part of the specification or setup is unclear.
