Crest flags: choosing a shape, size and clear design

Crest flags offer a different printed outline from feather and teardrop displays. The shape is part of the design: a logo that sits comfortably on a rectangle may need repositioning on a shaped flag. Start with the size and template, then arrange the message for the visible area rather than stretching artwork from another format.

Compare the size range

Browse small, medium, large and XL crest flags. Check the assembled dimensions and options on each product. Choose a size that fits the space with room around the base and clearance above the pole; consider what nearby people, vehicles or furniture might hide.

Printed sides and artwork placement

Choose from the print options listed for the selected size. Single-sided print is visible in reverse from the back, while a double-sided option, where offered, serves messages that need to read correctly in both directions. Keep the main brand mark away from the sleeve and edges. A short, high-contrast message will normally be easier to read than a dense list of services.

Hardware for the actual surface

Choose the base after checking where the flag will stand. A soft-ground spike has a different purpose from a weighted base or drive-on foot. Match both the connection and the suitability of the hardware to the flag. Send an order reference or photographs if you are reusing a pole or base, and follow the product's setup and weather guidance.

From artwork brief to a repeat order

Send your logo, wording, colours and selected size for free artwork help. Check the proof carefully before production, including the orientation on each face. For a repeat campaign, identify any changed details rather than assuming an old file is still current. A replacement graphic must be checked against the existing frame shape and dimensions.

Compare teardrop flags and feather flags if you are choosing a display family. Ask us about artwork, quantities and timing before committing to a fixed event deadline.
