Pop out banners: a guide for golf days and outdoor events
A pop out banner is a low-level display with a sprung frame and a shaped printed area. It is useful for sponsor branding beside an appropriate event area or along a route where a tall backdrop is unnecessary. It is a different product from a pop-up exhibition stand or a retractable roller banner.
Choose the size for the viewing position
The Pop Out Banner lists 1400 × 700mm and 2000 × 1000mm options. The smaller format can suit tighter positions or repeated sponsor branding; the larger provides more visible graphic area. Check the available ground space, viewing distance and anything that could hide the lower part of the banner.
Plan the two printed faces
The product lists double-sided printing, a sprung steel frame, soft-ground pegs and a carry case. Decide whether both faces carry the same design or different messages and identify them clearly in the brief. Use the exact shaped template: a rectangular advert should not simply be cropped into the outline.
Keep logos and essential wording away from the curved edge. For a golf day or sponsored event, identify the lead sponsor and the order of importance of supporting logos. Too many small marks can become unreadable from the intended viewing distance.
Placement and setup
Agree the position with the event organiser and keep the display clear of play, pedestrian movement and access routes. Use the supplied pegs only in suitable soft ground and follow the product's securing and weather guidance. The presence of pegs does not make every surface or weather condition appropriate.
