Plan the specification before ordering

1. Choose the location before the design

Record the surface, space and expected approach direction. A design should be readable from where visitors will actually see it, with the flag positioned clear of doors, walkways and nearby obstructions.

2. Use the matching crest template

Download or request the template for the selected product. Set the logo and message within its safe area, then check the narrow sections of the outline for clipped text or details that become too small.

3. Compare each side of the print

Check the single-sided and double-sided options on the product. Explain how the display will be viewed so the team can help confirm the appropriate specification. Do not assume both options reproduce lettering in the same way.

4. Keep the order specification together

Save the final artwork alongside the product size, pole and base details. For a repeat order, highlight any changes clearly. If you move the flag to a different surface, review the base choice again.
