1. Choose the finished dimensions

Measure the wall space and decide how the canvas will sit with nearby furniture or other prints. Check the selected product’s dimensions and finishing. Compare the proposed proportions with the source image before placing the order.

2. Use the best source file

Locate the original photograph or artwork rather than a screenshot. Avoid enlarging or resaving it repeatedly before sending it. Tell the team the final size so image suitability can be assessed in context.

3. Review the crop and edges

Identify the parts of the image that must remain visible. Confirm how the edges will be treated and whether any artwork wraps around the frame. Check that text, faces and borders remain in the intended viewing area.

4. Confirm the finished specification

Agree size, artwork version and finishing together. If ordering several canvases, label the files and quantities clearly. Retain the approved artwork so any future matching print can use the same crop and specification.
